We, for one, simply cannot wait to see what the rest of this season has in store for us.

Earn Exciting Rewards with Daily Game!

You can now challenge yourself to an easy mini-game every day and earn rewards.
In the mini-game, you will be able to get GP and training items as rewards. As you continue playing, you will be able to earn Chance Deals for a Limited Draw that contains Epic Neymar Jr and more.
Don't forget to log in and try your hand at earning all the great rewards on offer!

New Mode "My League"

We are pleased to announce the addition of a brand new VS AI mode "My League".
In this mode, you will be able to take part in leagues from around the world using your Dream Team.
This mode offers a unique experience that is not found in other Dream Team game modes, as you can save up My League Points and use them to sign Epic players on loan, as well as to keep your players in Excellent Conditions.
For those who enjoy playing against the AI, those who like to play through a season at their own pace, and those who just started their eFootball™ journey, this mode should offer you a good time!

"The Power of Many": Introducing a New Type of Booster

Another exciting addition is the introduction of a new type of Booster that becomes more powerful according to the number of players in your Game Plan that fulfil a specific condition. By registering in your Game Plan more players that fit the Activation Condition described in the Booster, the player in possession of the Booster himself will enjoy a better enhancement in his Abilities.
For example, if the Activation Condition is "J.League", the player in possession of the Booster will see a better increase in his Abilities the more "J.League" players are registered in the Game Plan.
  • The exact value the Booster will add to the player's Ability will vary according to the Booster. Furthermore, the number of players needed to achieve the maximum value will also vary.

A Booster Linked to Real-life Player Performance

Introducing a new type of Booster that directly corresponds with the player's Live Update Rating. By putting in a better performance on the pitch in real-life, the player will receive a higher Live Update Rating and the Booster will be in greater effect, giving the player a better enhancement in Ability.
This Booster is only activated when the player has a Live Update Rating of "B" or higher, and maximum effect is triggered when the player has a Live Update Rating of "A".
Keep an eye out on in-form players and put them into your team!
  • *Exact increase in Ability differs for each Booster.
  • *This Booster will not be activated when the player has a Live Update Rating of "C" or lower.

Introducing Show Time Players with the New Player Skill "Blitz Curler"!

Players in possession of this Player Skill are able launch a sharp Controlled Shot with vertical rotation.
This Player Skill is triggered when attempting a Controlled Shot with a 50% or more Power Gauge input.
  • This Player Skill is only triggered when kicking with the dominant foot, unless the player has a "Very High" Weak Foot Accuracy.
  • This Player Skill will not be triggered if the player is in an unbalanced body position or if the ball is in a difficult position for kicking.

eFootball™ League Revamp for Easier Playing

Based on your feedback, we have revamped eFootball™ League with the aim of making a more suitable matchmaking experience.

Addition of Matchmaking Groups

The eFootball™ League has been divided into 3 main groups: Division 1-3, Division 4-6 and Division 7-9. From now on, users will only be matched with other users from the same group.
The only time when matchmaking will be a bit broader will be during the first week of each Phase. In this period, there will only be 2 groups: Divisions 1-6 and Division 7-9.
Moreover, matchmaking priority is now given to opponents in a nearby Division even within the same matching group.

Expansion of the Rating System

Another change was made to the Rating system. Originally, only users in Division 1 used the Rating system, but now users from Division 2 and Division 3 will also be playing for Ratings.
Promotions and Relegations within Division 1-3 will now take place depending on the user's Rating.
On the other hand, Phase Rewards can still be earned in the same way as before.
Furthermore, users will be listed in the rankings from Division 3 onwards, and will be eligible for Ranking Rewards based on their final positions.

Changes to Relegation Rules

Once users reach Division 3, 6 or 9, they will not drop any further for the remainder of the Phase.
On the other hand, users who reached Division 1 will now face the threat of relegation.

Introduction of VS AI Matches

Under some conditions, you may play against AI opponents in Division 7-9.
To see whether the match played was a VS AI match or not, you can check the [Match History] page from the eFootball™ League main menu.
These VS AI matches offer the same Points as PvP matches.

Regulation Changes for Phase Transitions

Following the end of a Phase, the starting Division for the next Phase will now be determined based on the user's "highest ever Division reached".
Users who did not play eFootball™ League during the previous Phase can now pick up again accordingly without suffering a significant drop in Divisions.
The starting Divisions after a Phase transition are as follows:

Gameplay Fixes and Adjustments

In this update, our emphasis was on correcting and adjusting areas of the game where certain situations could lead to unconvincing or unintended behaviours, without significantly changing the game balance that you have been enjoying.

〇 Passing
・ Implemented adjustments to alleviate the issue of players not being able to receive passes adequately.
・ Fixed an issue where the ball would sometimes hit the kicking foot again after playing a slow through ball.
〇 Others
・ Implemented changes to the degree of influence the "Kicking Power" Player Stat has on the shot speed of free kicks.
When performing fast shots, the travelling speed of shots taken by players with a higher "Kicking Power" Player Stat will be a bit faster than normal.
・ Fixed the issue where the ball would sometimes bounce excessively wide upon hitting a player, such as when blocked.
・ Implemented adjustments so that the cursor will switch to a more appropriate player in defensive situations.
・ Implemented adjustments to Manual Cursor Change so that players situated in spots with substantial angle differences from the input direction are less likely to be selected.
・ Fixed an issue where a teammate would not stop marking a player controlled by the opposition with Off the Ball Controls, even if the player the user is controlling is better positioned to perform man marking.
・ Fixed an issue where players would sometimes be unable to avoid goal posts and goal nets.

・ Implemented adjustments to alleviate the issue of players not being able to receive passes adequately.
・ Fixed an issue where the ball would sometimes hit the kicking foot again after playing a slow through ball.

・ For the AI of Match Level 'Superstar' and 'Legend', decisions around passing and dribbling near the opponent's goal has been adjusted as the ball possession rate tended to be excessively high.
We will continue to make adjustments based on play data to ensure an appropriate balance of difficulty for each Match Level.
〇 Others
・ Fixed the issue where the ball would sometimes bounce excessively wide upon hitting a player, such as when blocked.

General Fixes Applied to Mitigate or Eliminate the Bugs Shown Below

・ Managers' Team Playstyle Proficiencies are not functioning as intended in online User Matches. As a result, the indicated Player Stats changes are not being reflected in-match.
・ When the goalkeeper joins in on the attack in the opponent's penalty area during corner kicks in second half added time with the Attack/Defence Level being raised to max, the goalkeeper may stand still once the opposition claims possession of the ball and may not return to his own goal.
・ The match time display may disappear during matches.
・ Managers' Team Playstyle Proficiencies are not functioning as intended in online User Matches. As a result, the indicated Player Stats changes are not being reflected in-match.
・ Returning to the Top Menu after editing the squad in the Game Plan screen will see "CODE:C_VRPT_0020" being displayed.
・ If a free kick is awarded due to an offside decision, the "Select Kicker" option is not displayed.
・ Kick feint commands cannot be performed under certain conditions.
・ When the goalkeeper joins in on the attack in the opponent's penalty area during corner kicks in second half added time with the Attack/Defence Level being raised to max, the goalkeeper may stand still once the opposition claims possession of the ball and may not return to his own goal.
