eFootball™ v6.1.0 Information

Greetings to all football lovers from around the world.
Leagues are kicking off all over Europe, and the season is now well under way.
Football fans everywhere are watching to see how the thrilling new season plays out.
Now then, let us walk through the v6.1.0 update in detail.

New Event

Showdown, the new PvP event!

Only the winners advance. In this new player-versus-player event, your attempt ends as soon as you lose.
In this tournament-style event you earn more rewards the further you progress.
Experience the tension and excitement of a do-or-die cup tournament.


Build your own unique super squad and aim to become champion.
*The first day of the event is scheduled for 16 October.

Player Development Update

Select Skill Tokens

From v6.1.0 and on, Advanced Skill Tokens are abolished. New Select Skill Tokens will now be used for skill training.
Collect 100 Select Skill Tokens, then use them to acquire a skill of your choice from those available in Skill Training.

Select Position Tokens

Position training is also getting new Select Position Tokens.
Collect 100 Select Position Tokens to learn a Position Proficiency of your choosing from those available to the selected player.


With more control over training, you can develop squad members into your ideal players.

Updated Presentation

To boost immersion even more, new scenes and animations have been added to key moments such as free kicks, corner kicks, and substitutions.
A new Referee View has been added. This is just like the camera angle now being used in real-world football broadcasts.

Plus, a Player View that shows the action from a player's perspective will be available at key moments, such as before a set piece.
These new viewing angles allow you to experience the excitement of potential turning points right on the pitch.
In addition, we have also tweaked and adjusted the types of animations and their timing, based on your feedback from the previous update.

・ Notifications will now be provided regarding users' progress in certain Objectives, and not only when those Objectives are completed.
