    (UPDATE 18/10/2019)We are currently observing the following issue.
    We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

    ・An issue that affects users who had the Classic command-type selected when they updated to v4.0.1, causing the control overlay displayed during matches to disappear.
    This issue can be rectified by going to [Extras] → [Settings] → [Play Settings], and adjusting the opacity of the overlay via the [Button Opacity] option under [Classic Control Settings].

    ・An issue where the [Convert Players] button doesn't work.
    If you encounter this issue, please return to the previous screen by pressing [Back] and then go to the Trainer menu again.

    ・An issue where even though the Tactics was set as "Defensive", it changes to "Offensive" in the pre-match squad management menu.
    For now, please remember to set your squad's tactics to "Defensive" every time in the pre-match squad management menu or the pause menu.

    ・An issue wherein maximizing the app causes it to crash, specifically in situations where the app had been minimized by pressing the home button multiple times.

    ・An issue that causes the app to freeze when performing a four finger swipe or tapping the screen multiple times in succession.

    These issues are scheduled to be fixed in the next update.
    We will inform you once the update has been implemented.

  • 18-10-2019 Update Additional Info Regarding the PES 2020 Update

    Welcome to eFootball PES 2020! See below for a breakdown of some of the changes that the update has introduced.

    New Player Type: “Carryover Players”

    Along with the update, all Base Players and Featured Players that you owned in PES 2019 were automatically converted into "Carryover Players".

    Changes to Player Levels and Overall Ratings

    Changes were made to the relationship between player levels and on-pitch performance to ensure a more realistic and rewarding experience.

    Changes to Trainer Conversion

    The procedure for converting a player into a Trainer has been changed.
    To convert a player into a Trainer in PES 2020, you'll now have to go to [Club House] > [My Team] > [Trainers] > [Convert Players], select the players you'd like to convert, then press [Convert].

    Changes to Online Match Ratings

    In PES 2020, we have improved the way that we calculate ratings for online matches to ensure that they more accurately reflect your actual skill level. In alignment with this change, we reset all ratings along with the PES 2020 update.
    Additionally, ratings will no longer be reset on a monthly basis like they were in PES 2019, but instead will be calculated across the course of your career in PES 2020 to ensure the best matchmaking experience possible.

    Changes to Match Controls

    Including the addition of Finesse Dribble, several changes have been made to match controls in PES 2020.

    New Commentary Data

    You will no longer be able to play matches using old commentary data (Ver 3.3.1 or earlier).
    If you'd like to play matches with commentary, be sure to download the latest commentary data.

    Various Changes made to Match Tab

    Several changes have been made to the layout of the [Match] tab. The names of some of the modes found inside this tab were also changed. See below for details.

    i) The "eFootball" panel has replaced the "Play Online" panel as the hub for various pvp matches. What was formerly called the "Online Match" mode in PES 2019 has now become "Standard" mode.
    ii) Event Mode now only includes events where you play against the COM.
    iii) The "Friend Match" panel has replaced the "Play Locally" panel as the hub for various modes that allow you to play against friends. What was formerly called "Friend Match" mode in PES 2019 has now become "Friend List Match" mode.
    iv) No changes have been made to Campaigns from PES 2019 - you are still able to select either Action or Sim, whereupon you will be tasked with completing seasons consisting of 10 matches.

    Removal of Local Leagues

    The Local League feature that was available in PES 2019 is no longer available in PES 2020.
    We apologise to all the fans that enjoyed this mode.

    Changes to Tour Events and Points

    In PES 2020, each Tour Event will come with the option to be played as either a sim or action match.
    Some adjustments were also made to the rewards and tour points earned by playing sim matches.

    Changes to Penalty Shoot-Outs

    Any match that goes to a penalty shoot-out will now be recorded as a draw in your match records.

  • 18-10-2019 Maintenance Regular Maintenance Times

    eFootball PES 2020 will be unavailable due to regular maintenance each week on the day and time listed below:

    Day and Time

    Thursdays between 02:00 - 08:00 (UTC)

    Note:

    ・Please note that the game will be unavailable during these times. Furthermore, the maintenance period may be changed if required.

    ・You will be unable to play either VS User or VS COM matches from 15 minutes before maintenance begins. Event matches will also be unavailable.

    ・If you are playing a VS User match when maintenance begins, that match will be null and void. VS COM and VS COM (Sim) matches can be resumed after maintenance ends, but only for a period of 24 hours after being matched with a COM opponent. Please note that any time that elapses during maintenance counts towards this 24 hour time limit.

    ・Due to periods of heavy network traffic that are common after maintenance, we may temporarily limit access to the server to ensure a smoother gameplay experience for all users. In such cases, you may encounter the following message when attempting to log in: "Access to the server is currently limited due to heavy traffic. Try again?"
    Selecting "Retry" will make another attempt at connecting to the server.

    ・In case the maintenance ends before 08:00 (UTC), there is a chance that there will be no Auctions available in the Auction List for some time.

  • 18-10-2019 Announcements [IMPORTANT] PES 2020 Mobile Crash Issue

    We have released an updated version of the game (v4.0.1) in which the issue that caused the game to crash has been resolved. Please download the latest version of the game from the store before attempting to play.

  • 17-10-2019 Announcements Read This If You Deleted and Reinstalled the Game

    If you deleted and reinstalled the game when applying the latest update, your game progress may not have been carried over into eFootball PES 2020.
    If you are experiencing this issue, use the information from the FAQ items below to recover your data.

    Q: If I deleted the app by mistake, can I still play with my game data if I reinstall it?

    A: Yes, but only if you linked your data to a Game Center account or KONAMI ID. Please choose the Link Data option from Data Transfer on the Title Screen.

    Q: I deleted the app or lost/damaged my device, but I didn't complete the Link Data setup with a KONAMI ID or Game Center. Then I reinstalled the app. Can I restore my account and game data?

    A: Please go to [Extras] > [Support] > [Contact & FAQ] > [Inquiry Form] > [I can't restore my account using a data transfer] and complete an inquiry form. Make sure to include all the required information.

  • 16-10-2019 Announcements [UPDATE] PES 2020 Mobile Crash Issue

    We have confirmed that some users are currently experiencing an issue that causes the game to crash after installing the update to eFootball PES 2020, which was released on October 15th.

    Our investigation has concluded, and we will be re-uploading a fixed version of the game to the store on October 17th.

    *The users who had logged in to the game between 13/12/2018 to 20/12/2018 and have not logged in since this period will still experience the issue after updating to v4.0.1.
    Further update is planned to resolve the issue for those users.

    Unfortunately, this means that additional time will be required to finish maintenance. As a result, we have had to postpone the beginning of the pre-open period, which will now commence on October 18th 08:00 (UTC) .

    We apologise sincerely for any inconvenience caused by this delay.

    Due to ongoing issues, the end of maintenance is being pushed back to 18/10/2019 08:00 (UTC).

    We have confirmed that some users are currently experiencing an issue that causes the game to crash after installing the update to eFootball PES 2020, which was released today (October 15th).

    An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the issue. In the meantime, we ask that you refrain from deleting or attempting to reinstall the game. If you delete the game from your device without linking your data, you will be unable to carry your progress from PES 2019 over into PES 2020.
