[IMPORTANT] Don't Lose Your Account

We regularly receive reports of malicious online behavior targeting our users. These include instances of phishing sites and malware that claim to offer eFootball™ Coins, GP, and/or eFootball™ Points in a bid to coerce users to disclose personal information such as their User ID, KONAMI ID, password, phone number, and email address. This information can then be used to access further personal details or hijack user accounts.
A good method of determining whether or not a site is safe is to check your browser's address bar to ensure it is hosted on the official Konami domain (https://www.konami.com/).

[Specific Examples of Phishing Sites and Malware]
Please be aware that these sites and services can take many forms. Some of the more common examples include the following:
・ Websites that mimic the appearance of our official site in an attempt to trick you into sharing your personal information.
・ Websites that ask you for your personal information, claiming that they offer eFootball™ Coins, GP, and/or eFootball™ Points/players. These sites may also claim that they offer entry to certain tournaments and/or campaigns.
・ Any app not affiliated with KONAMI that asks you to share your personal information.
・ Posts on social media that ask you to share your personal information.

[Past Cases]
We have identified the following malicious attempts in the past. Please exercise extra caution if you are targeted with a similar scheme.
・ A fake eFootball™ advertisement was placed on social media, prompting users to "Register your KONAMI ID and get rewarded with 500 Coins". Users who registered their KONAMI ID ended up having their game accounts stolen.
・ A link in English that led to an fake eFootball™ website was shared on social media. Users who clicked the link and registered their email address and passwords ended up having their game accounts stolen.
All claims of being able to receive eFootball™ Coins, GP, and eFootball™ Points are false.
We have absolutely no affiliation with any of these sites and services, and we advise users to exercise extreme caution not to provide them with any personal information.
Two-step verification is also an effective way of preventing your KONAMI ID and game accounts from being stolen. If you have not already activated two-step verification, please consider doing so.

Your User ID and password are for your personal use only and not for use by any other person. As such, acts of lending, selling, gifting, or allowing third parties to use your User ID and password is against the Terms of Use.
We have also confirmed instances of users sharing/exchanging information necessary for data transfer and data linkage with friends and acquaintances. Note that this is also prohibited as per the Terms of Use.
If we identify a breach of the Terms of Use, we may impose severe penalties such as account suspension.
If your account is suspended, you will no longer be able to continue playing the game with said account.
Therefore, we urge you to exercise caution when managing your game account, and do not engage in or solicit prohibited activities through friends, social media, noticeboards, etc.
