Creating an Environment for Women's Active Participation

Konami Group strives to create an environment that promotes active workplace participation by female employees as one of its key strategies for sustainable corporate growth.

In order to further promote this initiative, we have set a goal to increase the ratio of women in management positions to 20% or more by FY2025. As a measure to meet this goal, "Management & executive level training programs" to train and develop the skills of candidates for these positions have been introduced together with interviews with returnees from childcare leave to discuss their future work styles and careers.

Konami Group will continue to create an environment where all employees, regardless of gender, can fully demonstrate their abilities and work vigorously.

"Eruboshi" Certification

3 Star "Eruboshi" Certification, highest rating, from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare as an outstanding company for promoting women's participation in the workplace based on the "Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Career Advancement in the Workplace (heron after, Act to Promote Women's Participation)" has been granted to Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. in July 2016, to Konami Sports Co., Ltd. in August 2019 and to KONAMI HOLDINGS CORPORATION (currently KONAMI GROUP CORPORATION) in August 2021.

"Eruboshi" Certification is granted to companies that have formulated and submitted an action plan based on the Act to Promote Women's Participation, and that have made excellent efforts to promote female participation.
Certification level is determined by the level of fulfillment in the below five evaluation items: "recruitment," "continued employment," "working hours and other work styles," "ratio of women in managerial positions" and "variety in career courses."
