Human Resource Development

Basic Concept for Human Resource Development

In the 50 some years since its founding in 1969, the Konami Group has strived to create new forms of fun by globally providing innovative products and services that capture the era's crest of the wave.
We will continue to strive for sustainable growth in the coming 50 years and boldly take on challenges to catch the crest of the wave.

The source of innovative products and services that capture the era's crest of the wave is the Group's human resource itself. Konami Group will strive to achieve sustainable growth of business performance and corporate value through med/long-term human resource "recruitment," "training," "evaluation," "treatment," and "placement" as well as the development of a comfortable workplace based on Health and Productivity Management.

Recruitment

We respect diversity and conduct recruitment globally regardless of gender, nationality, age, etc. in order to hire people with various perspectives.
In addition to hiring new graduates, we are also actively recruiting mid-career professionals with highly specialized skills.

Training

The basic principle is for each employee to act autonomously to acquire the necessary expert knowledge and practical skills on their own.
In order to support autonomous learning, we create opportunities for employees to become aware of their own career plans through on-the-job training (OJT) and company-wide off-the-job training (Off-JT), and support the acquisition of these knowledge and skills.

Evaluation

We conduct fair evaluation of our employees according to their behavior and expected roles based on our Corporate Philosophy and the Guiding Principles (4C.)
With the concept that the purpose of evaluation is to develop human resources, we encourage and motivate individual employees through the process.

Treatment

Through fair treatment based on the system, we operate a merit-based system that rewards those who work hard and are not bound by mere age or years of service.
We operate the system so that each employee will be treated appropriately according to its motivation and career plan.

Placement

Human resources are allocated so that each employee can play an active role as professional in their respective field of their own career path.
Based on individual preferences and overall business strategies, we flexibly allocate the right person to the right position throughout the year, without being bound to the periodical job rotation that takes place every few years.

Ideal Profile

In line with the spirit of the Company Founder to "catch the era's crest of the wave," Konami Group will continue to take on new challenges with insatiable challenging spirit and the foresight to grasp the needs of the world.

"Ideal Profile"

With observance to society rule as a basis,
he/she should be capable of responding flexibly to change
and continue to take on challenges in order to meet the needs of the time.
