Note that on the turn this card is activated, you won't be able to activate effects of monsters you control aside from the one Special Summoned by this card's effect, but that's not a big drawback for many of the Decks centered around Special Summons, so this card will make a great addition to those Decks!

- This Link Monster lets you destroy 2 monsters on the field when your opponent Special Summons a monster from their Deck or Extra Deck!
And when this card is in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon it by returning 1 Insect, Plant, or Reptile Type monster you control to the bottom of your Deck!
The "Ragnaraika" Deck this card belongs to has lots of Insect, Plant, and Reptile Type monsters, but you can also try it in other Decks that use these monster types!

- This Spell Card lets you add 1 monster with 0 ATK from your Deck to your hand at the cost of halving your Life Points!
If you don't successfully Summon the monster added to your hand, you won't be able to activate the effects of that monster or any card of the same name until the end of your opponent's next turn, so make sure to use this card in Decks that have you steadily Summoning 0 ATK monsters into battle.
"Timelord" is one such Deck, but utilizing 0 ATK monsters is also key to "D/D" and "Ragnaraika", making them excellent Decks for this card!
Halving your Life Points may seem like a big drawback, but turn it to your advantage by using it to activate Skills!
