If this monster battles your opponent's monster, it can banish both itself and the opponent monster.
Both monsters banished by this effect will return to the field at the end of the Battle Phase. If an Xyz Monster is banished by this effect, this monster gains 500 ATK for each material it had when it was banished.
Remember that since banished Xyz Monsters' Xyz Materials are sent to the Graveyard, the Xyz Monster that has returned to the field won't be able to use its effects that require detaching materials.

- Although this monster cannot be Normal Summoned/Set, it can be Special Summoned if you control no monsters.
It can be used in various situations: You can attack your opponent with its high ATK, use it for a Tribute Summon, or use it to Xyz Summon a Rank 4 Xyz Monster after Summoning another Level 4 monster.

As this effect can also be activated during your opponent's turn, it works especially well against Decks that use cards that can be activated when the card is sent to the Graveyard or banished from the Graveyard.

By changing your monsters to Defense Position, you can make sure it destroys an opponent's monster.
Since this effect will not target any card, you can even destroy monsters that cannot be targeted by the effect!

- Photon Advancer + Photon Vanisher + Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon

First, Normal Summon "Photon Advancer" and then Special Summon "Photon Vanisher" from your hand!
Then, use the effect of "Photon Vanisher" that can be activated when it's Special Summoned so that you can add 1 "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" to your hand from your Deck!
Since the "Photon Vanisher" on your field will increase "Photon Advancer"'s ATK to 2000, you can immediately Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" that you have just added to your hand! -
- Dododo Witch + Blue Mountain Butterspy + Dododo Swordsman

First, Normal Summon "Dododo Witch" and activate its effect.
Chain the effect of "Blue Mountain Butterspy" in order to Special Summon it from your hand, and Special Summon "Dododo Swordsman" in face-down Defense Position from your hand with "Dododo Witch"'s effect!
Next, Xyz Summon "Photon Papilloperative" using "Dododo Witch" and "Blue Mountain Butterspy"!
Then, activate the effect of "Photon Papilloperative" in order to change "Dododo Swordsman" from face-down Defense Position to face-up, so that you can destroy up to 2 face-up monsters on the field with its effect! -
