See below for a detailed breakdown of what will happen to all your game data and in-game items from PES 2020 Mobile when the PES 2021 Mobile update goes live this October.

• What happens to my myClub Coins?

  All myClub Coins from PES 2020 will carry over to PES 2021.

• What happens to my GP?

  All GP from PES 2020 will carry over to PES 2021.

• What happens to my Base Team?

  If the Base Team* you set in PES 2020 is available in PES 2021 when you first log in after updating the game, you will be able to use it as is. However, please note that the update may result in some changes to the names, strips and emblems of certain teams.
  
  If the Base Team you set in PES 2020 is not available in PES 2021 when you first log in after updating the game, you will have to choose a new team. The teams that you can choose from will be limited to those that are available in PES 2021 at the time of your first login.
  
  You can change your Base Team and team name at any time by going to [Extras] → [User Information] → [User Profile] and selecting Base Team and Team Name.
  
  *Please note that "Base Team" refers to what is currently your "Model Team" in PES 2020 Mobile. As part of the update to PES 2021, we will be updating this term to align with the console version of the game.

• Players

  Carryover Players

  When the PES 2021 Mobile update goes live, all Base Players and Featured Players that you owned in PES 2020 will automatically be converted to Carryover Players. Any Carryover Players who you initially acquired during the update to PES 2020 will remain as Carryover Players after the update. The appearance, position, skills, tactics and other player data of Carryover Players will be adjusted to be identical to that of their Base Player counterparts.

  Carryover Players will differ from other player categories in the following ways:
  
  - You’ll earn more GP by releasing Carryover Players than other types of players with comparable Overall Ratings.
  - Carryover Players will have their Condition Rating fixed to “C”, and will not be impacted by Live Updates.
  - Carryover Players cannot be used in certain online events.
  - Carryover Players may receive a lower bonus than other player types in certain online events.

• Other Player Types

  See below for details on how other player types will be handled during the update to PES 2021.

  Base Players

  If a Base Player you obtained in PES 2020 is available in PES 2021 at launch, his player data will be updated to data from September 2020, and he will be automatically converted into a Carryover Player when the update goes live. Your players' appearance, positions, abilities, skills, tactics, etc. may be updated, and their Overall Ratings may also change.
  
  If a Base Player you obtained in PES 2020 is not available in PES 2021 at launch, he will be exchanged for a random Base Player of the same rarity (ball colour) and registered position. Any players you receive through this exchange mechanic will be limited to those featured in PES 2021 at the time of its launch.

  Carryover Players from PES 2019

  These are players who you initially acquired in PES 2019 that were converted into Carryover Players during the update to PES 2020. These players will be treated exactly the same as Base Players during the update to PES 2021.
  
  *You will not be able to select the player that you receive through the player exchange mechanic.
  *If a player of the same rarity (ball colour) and registered position is not available when the update launches, your player will be exchanged for a Base Player of the same ball colour instead.
  *Players from PES 2020 that are not included at PES 2021 at launch may be added to the game sometime after the update releases.

  Featured Players

  If a Featured Player you obtained in PES 2020 is included in PES 2021 at launch, he will be automatically converted into a Carryover Player when the update goes live. The appearance, position, attributes, skills, tactics, and other data of former Featured Players will be updated to match those of their Base Player counterparts using data from September, 2020.
  
  If a Featured Player you obtained in PES 2020 is not included in PES 2021 at launch, he will be exchanged for a random Base Player of the same rarity (ball colour) and registered position. Any players you receive through this exchange mechanic will be limited to those featured in PES 2021 at the time of its launch.
  
  *You will not be able to select the player that you receive through the player exchange mechanic.
  *If a player of the same rarity (ball colour) and registered position is not available when the update launches, your player will be exchanged for a Base Player of the same ball colour instead.
  *Players from PES 2020 that are not included at PES 2021 at launch may be added to the game sometime after the update releases.

  Legend Players

  Any Legend Players owned in PES 2020 that are available in PES 2021 at launch will remain as Legend Players after the update. However, the appearance, positions, attributes, skills, tactics, Overall Rating and other data of all Legends is subject to change. Additionally, the strips, team emblems and names of some Legends may also be subject to change.
  
  Legend Players owned in PES 2020 that are not included in PES 2021 at launch will be exchanged for a random Legend Player of the same rarity (ball colour) and registered position. Any players you receive through this exchange mechanic will be limited to those featured in PES 2021 at the time of its launch.
  
  *You will not be able to select the player that you receive through the player exchange mechanic.
  *If a player of the same rarity (ball colour) and registered position is not available when the update launches, your player will be exchanged for a Legend Player of the same ball colour instead.
  *Players from PES 2020 that are not included at PES 2021 at launch may be added to the game sometime after the update releases.

  Iconic Moment Series Players

  Any Iconic Moment Series players obtained in PES 2020 that are available in PES 2021 at launch will remain as Iconic Moment Series players after the update. However, the appearance, positions, attributes, skills, tactics, Overall Rating and other data of all these players may be subject to change. Additionally, the strips, team emblems and names of some players in the Iconic Moment Series may also be subject to change.
  
  Iconic Moment Series players obtained in PES 2020 that are not included in PES 2021 at launch will be exchanged for a random Iconic Moment Series player of the same rarity (ball colour) and registered position. Any players you receive through this exchange mechanic will be limited to those featured in PES 2021 at the time of its launch.
  
  *You will not be able to select the player that you receive through the player exchange mechanic.
  *If a player of the same rarity (ball colour) and registered position is not available when the update launches, your player will be exchanged for an Iconic Moment Series player of the same ball colour instead.
  *Players from PES 2020 that are not included at PES 2021 at launch may be added to the game sometime after the update releases.

  

• Player Levels

  

  Players that you obtained in PES 2020 who are available in PES 2021 at launch will retain the level they had before the update goes live.
  If this level is higher than the max level of that player in PES 2021, the player's level will be set to whatever his new max is after the update. (Max levels differ from player to player)
  
  Players from PES 2020 who are not available in PES 2021 at launch will be exchanged, and players received through this exchange mechanic will be automatically set to their max level.

• Contract Periods for Exchange Players

  All players received through the exchange mechanic detailed above will have their contract period set to 10 matches. Additionally, any users that received an exchange player during the update will also receive 10 Contract Tickets.

• Item Effects

  The effects of any Position Boosters and Skill Tokens used on players in PES 2020 will be nullified when the PES 2021 Update goes live.

• Trainers

  Any Special Trainers that you owned in PES 2020 will also carry over to PES 2021.
  If a player you converted into a Trainer is included in PES 2021 at launch, you can use him as is.
  If a player you converted into a Trainer is not included in PES 2021 at launch, he will be exchanged for a ★3 Special Trainer with no expiry date. Any ★3 Special Trainers that you are eligible to receive will be sent to your Inbox after the update goes live.

• Scouts

  The vast majority of Scouts will carry over to PES 2021 and can be used as is. However, if any of your Scouts have no available players when you log in to PES 2021 for the first time, they will be exchanged for another Scout with the same negotiation skill (★ - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★). The Scouts you receive through this exchange have no expiry date and can be claimed from the Inbox.
  
  *Users cannot select the category of the Scout they receive through Scout exchanges.
  *Some Scouts obtained via the exchange may temporarily be unable to sign any players.

• Managers

  Manager Data Updates

  If a Manager you obtained in PES 2020 is included in PES 2021 when you first log in, their Manager data will be updated to match the start of the 2020-21 season. The updated Manager data includes Basic Info such as their Photo, Formation, Adaptability, Management Skill and Offensive and Defensive Tactics. Note that some Managers who also feature in PES 2021 may have their name changed and photo removed.
  
  If you owned multiple copies of the same Manager in PES 2020, you will only be able to select one of the duplicates to update to the latest data (2020-21 season) when you first log in to PES 2021.
  Each duplicate Manager that you did not choose can be exchanged for a Manager of your choice from among those featured in PES 2021 at the time of your first login.
  
  Similar to the above, if a Manager you obtained in PES 2020 is not included in PES 2021 when you first log in, you’ll be able to choose a new Manager from those featured in PES 2021 at that time.
  
  *Even if some of your Managers are unavailable in-game when the update goes live, there is a chance they may be added to PES 2021 at a later date.

  

• Manager Contract Durations

  The contract duration for all Managers that you own will automatically be set to 25 matches during the update.

• Manager Item Effects

  The effects of any Management Skill Boost items used on Managers in PES 2020 will be nullified when the PES 2021 Update goes live.
