ZONE OF THE ENDERS

A Mecha Anime Simulator Featuring Never-Before-Seen Aerial Gameplay

What if there were an action game that let you dart through the air in any direction? This was the inspiration behind mecha anime simulator Zone of the Enders. The "Orbital Frame," as the game's primary mecha is known, does everything that might be expected of a humanoid machine - grabbing enemies, unleashing a whirlwind of blade strikes up close, and firing off guns from a distance, all while spiraling freely in the open air. With its seamless transitions between omnidirectional battles and story sequences, the game is like diving into a mecha anime where the fate of outer space lies in the player's hands.

Fly Anywhere at Will

Z.O.E. offers much more than a linear left-to-right or straight ahead experience, inviting players to soar freely around its 360-degree battlefields in their Orbital Frame. Explore the factories, residential areas, parks, and other areas of an outer space colony, shooting down aerial enemies from the ground, circling like a bird of prey, and diving to take down enemies below. It is truly a mecha anime that responds to the player's every touch.

Slice Enemies with Your Energy Sword

With an energy shield surrounding your Orbital Frame for protection, deliver swift justice with your energy sword or unleash multiple successive strikes to perform devastating combos. Dash toward enemies to engage in fights of lightning speed.

Target Enemies with a Range of Ballistic Weapons

Your main weapon automatically switches from sword to gun for attacking at a distance. At your disposal is a normal shot, a homing laser that can lock onto multiple enemies while you dash, and an even more powerful burst attack that can be used during a burst. You can also switch between various sub-weapons as needed to take out far-off enemies.

Grab Enemies and Throw Them Through the Air

No weapon is greater than your own fists - grab enemies at close range and send them flying. Also, the background objects that litter the stages can become weapons or projectiles in the right hands. This melee combat ace-in-the-hole provides unprecedented tactical freedom, allowing players to smash enemies into stage objects, lock on to another enemy and kill two birds with one stone, or just hold them steady while planning the next move.
