  • LATAM Organized Play Coordinator

    An individual contributor that supports the Card Business Organized Play (OP) team, maintains inventory of all OP-related materials and event-related materials, coordinates shipping, logistics and tournament support for all Card Business IP.

    Type of Position: Full-time contract position. Hybrid position.

    Department: Card Business

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Scheduling and minute-taking of meetings.
    • Help LATAM OP Specialist process  Tournament Paperwork.
    • Approve tournaments in the Online Tournament Software, upload any tournament files for OTS.
    • Draft PO’s for OP team on various projects while maintaining communication with LATAM OP Specialist to ensure that deadlines set by management are being met.
    • Assist LATAM OP Specialist in reaching out to OTS in Latin America, to help gather pending reports and assist with uploading of tournament files, including but not limited to Remote Duel  events, OTS Championship, VIP Qualifiers, Regionals, Release Celebrations, YGO Day, local level events, etc.
    • Assist LATAM OP Specialist as the Latin America Player Liaison during preparation of all Latin America events and secure delivery of post event prizing for players while keeping players up to date on delivery status.
    • Assist with the Spanish and Portuguese website updates.
    • Assist CSR with keeping OTS Database up-to-date with changes requested by our TO’s information currently on file.
    • Be responsible for:

    o Packaging and shipping of OP and event items for Latin America events, including but not limited to Regional Qualifiers, Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series, Remote Duel events, World Championship Qualifiers, store-level events, and judge compensation items.

    o Organizing and maintaining accurate inventory of Latin America prize support in house and at various Devir offices.

    o Organizing and maintaining the OP storage areas dedicated to Latin America.

    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
    • Must have great organizational skills.
    • Should demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
    • High sense of confidentiality.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to accurately process and data enter information.
    • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate ability to multi-task.
    • Bilingual ability with English/Spanish REQUIRED. Fluency in Portuguese a plus.

  • Senior Product Manager - Digital

    The Digital Product Marketing team is responsible for defining the long-term brand strategy, creative direction, specific marketing activations, and consistency in messaging across all player touchpoints throughout the Americas. The Senior Product Manager – Digital is responsible for the planning, management, and execution of the marketing for Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL at a high level. This includes product positioning, budgeting, periodic business analysis, and leading Digital strategy to hit business goals. The Senior Product Manager will be the brand champion balancing the brand and marketing strategies while collaborating across multiple internal teams to ensure alignment with development schedules and marketing needs. You will play a central role in defining and executing the strategic brand vision and roadmap, sharing best practices/processes across the portfolio and company, and lead internal plus external relationships that bring to life our promise to our customers. He or she must be self-motivated and prepared to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in a global company. He or she has experience working in the games industry and possesses a deep background in product marketing / brand strategy, and strong project management skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop comprehensive strategies and execute all aspects of the marketing plans for the Yu-Gi-Oh! digital game portfolio, including, but not limited to, target market identification and analysis, budgeting, category and competitive analysis, with a focus on new user acquisition and strong ROI.
    • Collaborate with the Card Business department to improve integration of various programs with official Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG digital channels and events, such as social media campaigns, influencer marketing, and offline Organized Play initiatives and events.
    • Oversee the placement of online, print and TV advertising and the development of key assets including ad copy, scripts and editorial messaging.
    • Assist with the implementation of cross-promotional opportunities with other licensees.
    • Build relationships with all first party: Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Steam, iOS and Android
    • Coordinating with other KDE offices to align marketing strategies and promotions for our digital properties
    • Obtain necessary approvals for all marketing-related activities to ensure compliance with licensors, first-parties, etc.
    • Work closely with Business Strategy to create and implement cross-promotional campaigns.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

    • 5-8+ years’ experience in Product Marketing and/or Brand Management roles
    • Experience bringing games to market, including building compelling marketing plans, creating/improving a brand, working internal groups and/or external agencies
    • Capable of devising exceptional presentations, cutting-edge marketing strategies, and iconic creative backed up by insightful market and player analysis
    • Experience managing direct reports and/or enjoys developing less seasoned colleagues both within and outside your immediate team
    • Leads by example with an ability to build long-term relationships with key internal stakeholders and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Building and maintaining relationships with external business partners, platform partners, and marketing agencies
    • Application of critical thinking and analysis to projects and workflow
    • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, while maintaining an ability to always stay focused on the work at hand

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
    • 5 to 8 years of experience in marketing video games, including mobile, live, and console games, and/or digital entertainment industries.

     

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT ARE A PLUS

    • Experience marketing licensed products
    • Experience with esports activations
    • Passion for the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand
    • Microsoft Office & Google Suite experience (Required)
