FROGGER AND THE RUMBLING RUINS UPDATE ADDS NEW DUNGEON, PLAYER REWARDS

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced exciting new additions to Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins, the puzzle adventure game available exclusively on Apple Arcade. The new update includes the new “Flame Ruins” dungeon, a fresh costume for Frogger, Gem-generating plants, and collectable music “records” from other iconic KONAMI titles from the 1980s and 1990s.

Flame Ruins adds over 20 stages of even more twists and turns for Frogger and his dungeon-traveling companion Axol to explore. The new dungeon is set in both firey and icy cold landscapes, perfect for Frogger’s new “Explorer” costume!

Trecherous mazes and puzzles aren’t the only thing Frogger and Axol have to worry about. Deep within Flame Ruin lies new boss battles the two amphibious explorers will have to overcome. There is still more mystery to uncover for the legend of the stone tablet.

Players logging-in daily will now be rewarded with randomized “Potted Plants” that generate Gems throughout the week while the plant is harvested in the player’s tent. Players will not know what type of plant they were awarded with until the plant sprouts fruit.

Music “Records” from retro KONAMI games are coming to the in-game store. Players can collect and play tracks to use as background music while they explore the different dungeons and solve mysterious puzzles. Hop through the ruins set to the tunes of retro Contra, Castevania, Goemon and more!

In Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins, players guide Frogger through the ruins by manipulating the terrain whilst avoiding various traps and enemies. The game features intuitive three-dimensional puzzles, a fun and friendly story with unique characters throughout the player’s journey and ferocious boss battles in the deepest parts of the ruins.

Playable across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins is available exclusively on Apple Arcade for a low monthly subscription of $4.99 with a one-month free trial.
