KONAMI SIGNS AS OFFICIAL SPONSOR of SPORT CLUB INTERNACIONAL

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that it has signed a partnership with Sport Club Internacional (Internacional) as “Official Global Partner” and “Official Video Game Partner.” KONAMI’s eFootball PES logo will be prominently placed on the back of the official game kits for the youth academy and training kits for both the youth and professional teams. As a video game partner, Clube do Povo will be alongside KONAMI’s world-class partners including Juventus FC, FC Barcelona, FC Bayern München and countless more in the eFootball PES series.

The relationship brings integrated marketing and commercial collaboration on and off the pitch, with highly visible eFootball PES branding throughout club-related promotional content, press backdrops, microphone flags and display on the field boards of the Parque Gigante training grounds.

As part of the agreement, KONAMI will have rights to use the Inter crest and other club iconography for various global promotions of the eFootball PES series in addition to its continued in-game licensing. The partnership bolsters KONAMI’s dedication to delivering the most authentic Brazilian football experience to its millions of global players with content that also includes the exclusive license of the Brasileirão, a competition that Inter has won on three occasions in the Série A.
