  • Senior Manager, Digital Release & Business Strategy

    The Senior Manager of Release & Business Strategy plays a critical role in creating and maintaining the digital foundations for the launch and support of Konami IP for current and future games or products. The individual is responsible for managing the tasks, individuals, and operations for the digital Business Strategy department. The role is deeply involved in digital store business, partner and 1st party digital project relationships, digital store setup procedures, overseeing contracts and legal reviews, and coordinating digital projects with other departments or regions. The Senior Manager, Digital Release & Business Strategy is also responsible for guiding sales and promotional approvals for digital products in the Americas. This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Strategy, Sales, and Operations and will have team members reporting to the role. The responsibilities listed are not all inclusive and additional duties and tasks will be assigned as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate within Konami on digital promotions, new business opportunities, digital store setup, new product analysis, and any other task that are assigned by either the Senior Director of the department or the President.
    • Collaborate new business initiatives with all branch offices.
    • Oversee the digital store set up and flow for new and existing game products and Intellectual Property.
    • Review and manage incremental revenue generating opportunities to achieve budget goals.
    • Work with team members to analyze the results of promotions and discuss next steps with the global teams.
    • One of the primary contacts with external partners (Sony, Microsoft, Steam, Nintendo, GOG, Roblox, Aspyr, etc.)
    • Manage business partnership with 1st Party and external partners.
    • Lead communications with key Konami teams globally.
    • Analyze current and future market and consumer trends to determine appropriate business opportunities.
    • Work with other departments (Brand, Sales, Finance, etc.) to ensure a smooth workflow across all departments.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 7 – 10+ years experience in digital operations, store set up, digital sales, promotions and release planning.
    • Complete knowledge of processing content submissions, assets, metadata, and pricing.
    • Strong understanding of the video game industry and digital games (console & PC).
    • Ability to department lead teams, individual and create clear directives and roadmaps.
    • Previous experiencing securing promotional opportunities for digital games on 1st Party platforms (console & PC).
    • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple groups (Sales, Marketing, Social, PR).
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to develop proposals.
    • Good working understanding of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and cross business relationships.

  • Facility Specialist

    The facility specialist will be primarily responsible for assisting in managing all aspects of our building located in Hawthorne, CA. He/she must work closely with several cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, organized play, and production to achieve or exceed overall corporate goals and ensure inventory levels are maintained and products are shipped out on schedule. The ideal candidate should have experience in inventory and shipping.

    Reports To: Facility Manager

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Handle receiving of shipments into our warehouse.
    • Working with the various teams that require shipping labels- both domestically and internationally.
    • Maintain accurate inventory of all building assets.
    • Communicate inventory levels to appropriate team members for replenishment with enough lead time to facilitate approvals, production time, and delivery of needed items.
    • Process internal requests for the HR and Facility team, including but not limited to vendor payment requests, expense reports, and sample requests.
    • Work with external partners to get these materials delivered to the events on time and within budget.
    • Assist HR with all internal company events.
    • Maintain an inventory of spare parts and office/maintenance supplies for the office including kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas. Maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and annual postings.
    • Update office décor as needed.
    • Maintain relations with current vendors and seek new vendors in order to improve services or control costs.
    • Create building badges for new hires and/or replacement badges for current employees.

  • Digital Products Specialist

    A strong self-starter with a passion for Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh! digital games. We are looking for an individual contributor that supports the Digital Products Team with reporting, promotions, marketing, and production support for Yu-Gi-Oh! digital properties.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Digital
      • Be our in-house Digital Card product expert.  Responsible for playing our digital games, understanding game mechanics, new features, characters, and game modes; provide critical marketing and product feedback to cross-functional and development teams as necessary.  Strong familiarity with physical Card products as they relate to Digital Card business.
      • Create weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs to report on Digital Card business success and ensure business goals are being met; including but not limited to: product sales, promotions, community feedback and engagement, and industry news and updates.  Work with Senior Digital Product Manager to establish internal process for managing data and reporting for Digital Card business data reporting.
      • Assist with budget management, vendor setup and payments, and provide administrative support from product inception through post-launch, to usher products and marketing efforts through internal business and financial processes.
      • Manage Hardware, Firmware, Network, and Software needs and process for Digital Card team.
      • Research and inform the rest of the Digital Card and Marketing team on relevant digital trends, technologies, and strategies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with Senior Digital Product Marketing Manager to develop comprehensive strategies and execute all aspects of the marketing plans for launch and post launch, including activities to support major updates and launch anniversaries, of the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! digital game portfolio.
    • Oversee marketing asset development for digital titles, including creating and managing the asset calendar, managing external vendors, and managing approvals, including third-party approvals.
    • Manage marketing creative and product copy by working closely with the Social Media team, development teams and external business partners.

  • Network & System Administrator

    Network & System Administrator will manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure. Daily tasks may include configure/security audit & patch/deploy network and systems, software and hardware. Network & System Administrator will be part of IT supporting team member, to provide general IT support services to the end-users' essential business environment consists of PC/Mac Hardware & OS, business applications, security configuration, email, VPN, etc.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Must fully “own” the network environment, to keep its system services running, and take full responsibility of its upgrades, maintenance, and service availability.
