Digital Display Collection: 500 Series Shinkansen Memorial
Nintendo Switch™
The 500 Series Shinkansen is scheduled to retire from commercial service in 2027. With the cooperation of West Japan Railway Company (JR West), this title recreates the digital displays installed both inside and outside the train on Nintendo Switch™!As the first title in the Digital Display Collection series, it lets you switch between train services, destinations, stops, reserved and non-reserved seat information, and more, or simply sit back and enjoy the authentic movement of the displays.Featuring as many of the devices and display patterns used on both the W and V trainsets as possible, this “railway gadget” is scheduled for release in early 2027, preserving the memory of the 500 Series for the future. This new series follows in the footsteps of the popular Makucolle series, which recreates the destination rollsigns used on railway vehicles and is currently available for download.
