Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. is excited to announce that it has been selected as the top partner for the MEIJI YASUDA J.LEAGUE 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE, a special tournament to be held by the Japan Professional Football League (J.League), a public interest incorporated association, in February next year.

As a J.League top partner since 2018, we have long been committed to the development of Japanese soccer. Since 2019, we have continued our strong partnership with the Meiji Yasuda J.League Monthly MVP program. In this initiative, players who win the monthly MVP award will appear in ‘eFootball™’ and the mobile game ‘J.League Club Championship’, allowing fans to experience the players and matches through the games. Since the same year, we have also continued to co-host with the J.League the “eJ.League eFootball™” esports tournament, which features all 40 J1 and J2 clubs. The 2025 season finals attracted a lot of attention, recording a total of more than 350,000 views.
As part of this initiative, we have been selected as the top partner of the MEIJI YASUDA J.LEAGUE 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE, which will kick off on Saturday, February 7 next year. This tournament will be a special one held in conjunction with the transition of the J.League season from a spring-autumn system to an autumn-spring system starting in 2026. Unlike traditional league competition, a greater emphasis will be placed on community engagement.
Going forward, we will continue to deliver the appeal of the MEIJI YASUDA J.LEAGUE 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE, as well as its players and clubs, to even more fans through our soccer games. Details will be announced on the official websites and X accounts of each game, so please stay tuned for further updates.
Through its partnership with J.League, Konami Digital Entertainment aims to broaden soccer's appeal, bringing the fun and excitement of the sport to an ever=greater audience.
