Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. is excited to announce that the prefectural qualifiers for the Inter-Prefectural Esports Championship 2024 SAGA, which uses the eFootball™ series as its competition titles, will be held online starting Thursday, October 17.
This year, the eFootball™ series division qualifiers will take place on two platforms: PlayStation® and mobile devices, for which support has been added. This is the first time the qualifiers for the Inter-Prefectural Esports Championship eFootball™ series division will be held on mobile devices.
In the prefectural qualifiers, which will begin on Thursday, October 17, players will compete in 1-on-1 matches for four rounds on their respective platforms. The winners among the mobile device and PlayStation® players will then form a team to represent their respective prefectures, and compete for the championship in the inter-prefectural tournament.
In addition, a special website for the eFootball™ series division was launched today. Tournament details and eligibility requirements will be posted on the site as they become available.

eFootball™ is the rebranding of KONAMI’s popular Pro Evolution Soccer series.
