Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it will be developing content for the Oculus VR gaming system provided by Facebook. What's more, "BEAT ARENA," a VR band simulation game, will be the first compatible title on the Quest platform to be released on Friday, March 12.
"BEAT ARENA" is a music game where players can enjoy playing four different instruments (guitar, bass, drums and keyboard) as if they were actually performing live. They can also create their own avatar in the game, and form a band in the VR space with their friends' play data.
We are continuously working to create games that can be enjoyed by a wide range of customers by incorporating new technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). By developing content for the Oculus platform, where VR games can easily be played on all-in-one devices, we hope to bring new appeal to our content.
Konami Digital Entertainment will continue to offer KONAMI content to as many consumers as possible through various devices and platforms.
