MISSION

OPERATION GALUGA

MISSION BRIEFING

Year: 26XX AD. The Galuga Archipelago off the coast of New Zealand is ground zero for a mysterious meteor shower. Six months later, the Red Falcon terrorist group invades the island, and unusual gravity waves can be detected emanating from the area. The Earth Federation sends in the GX Army for reconnaissance, but contact has been lost. With no other viable options, the Earth Marine Corps dispatches its most elite soldiers - Bill Rizer and Lance Bean of the Contra unit - to investigate and neutralize any potential threats. The conflict that follows turns the once-peaceful island into an all-out warzone where the fate of mankind hangs in the balance.

CHARACTERS

LEGENDARY LEADER

BILL RIZER

The field leader of the Contra unit. Major Bill Rizer hails from a family with a long military history, and possesses exceptional physical strength, agility, and mental fortitude. Graduate of the Earth Marine Academy, he is proficient in all manner of armaments and well-versed in military science.

HEADBANDED HERO

LANCE BEAN

In addition to having a strong mind and body, Major Lance Bean is an expert marksman and skilled with machinery. Was active as a guerrilla fighter before being recruited into the Earth Marine Corps by Bill Rizer. Despite rarely showing emotions during missions, he is a family man with an adopted son.

ISLAND WARRIOR

ARIANA

A tremendously skilled warrior native to the Galuga Archipelago. Her people have guarded the island's temple since ancient times, but after her village was nearly wiped out by Red Falcon's attack, she now wages a one-woman war against the enemy forces. She fights out of a sense of duty as well as for revenge.

ENIGMATIC AGENT

LUCIA

Serving under Commander Doyle, Lucia is a deputy commander in the Earth Marine Corps who provides intelligence to the Contra Unit. Smart and level-headed, Lucia is equally adept at field missions and covert operations. Dedicated and determined. She has ties to the mysterious X-FLO organization.

HEAVY-DUTY DESTROYER

LT. STANLEY IRONSIDE

A dutiful military veteran who leads an armored platoon in the GX Army. He wears a powered Hercules exosuit to supplement his already formidable combat abilities. Has a friendly rivalry with Bill and Lance, but begrudgingly respects their skills. His team was sent to Galuga Island prior to the Contra Unit's deployment.

CYBERNETIC SOLDIER

PROBOTECTOR

Probotectors are autonomous training robots used by the Contra team. Utilizing gamma-class AI targeting, dynamic performance hydraulic systems, and Mk. III polymer-fiber composite armor, units M4D-0G and SC0RP1 are every bit as capable in the field as their human counterparts.

Intelligence has revealed a wide array of enemy forces likely to be encountered by the Contra unit. These include armed terrorists, advanced machines, and even some foes that may not be of this world. The list includes but is not limited to:

UNRELENTING ARMY

RED FALCON SOLDIERS

Wielding advanced technology, the ruthless Red Falcon terrorist group has conquered the Galuga Archipelago. Their numbers are vast, and consist of ground infantry, grenadiers, snipers, sappers, and other specialties. They seem to attack mindlessly and without remorse.

FIGHTING FORTRESS

SUPER WALL

Deep within the jungle, the heavily armed Super Wall defends the entrance to Red Falcon's base. This mini-fortress conceals many tricks; just when you think it's defeated, it will assume a new form.

FEARSOME FLYING OBJECT

GULDAF DAGRA

This Fraser Enterprises Class 2 Surveillance Unit has been commandeered by Red Falcon. It can deploy attack drones and soldiers, and is able to teleport around the battlefield.

TITANIC TERROR

GROMAIDES

Just what kind of monster is this!? Hidden at the top of the waterfall, the gargantuan alien Gromaides bursts forth, ready to attack with acid, flame breath, and lethal claws.

RAMPAGING ROBOT

BIG BOT GORDEA

A hulking autonomous robot possessing tremendous strength. Can attack from afar with spiked projectiles or crush foes at close range with its sheer mass.

COLD-BLOODED COMMANDER

GENERAL VARANIS

The ruthless leader of the Red Falcon forces. His true origins are a mystery.
