How do I play a match with GameShare?

Invite to GameShare

Launch the game and select [Match] > [GameShare (local)].
A wait screen will appear. Wait for other users to join.
Once all the other users have joined, select [Start] to begin the GameShare session.

Join GameShare

Select [GameShare] on the HOME Menu.
Select [Join GameShare].
Select [A Local User] to search for available GameShare sessions.
When an available GameShare session is found, select [Join GameShare]. Wait for the host to start the GameShare session.

How do I play a match with Local Play?

To play a match using Local Play, you need two Nintendo Switch 2 consoles with the eFootball™ Kick-Off! game installed.
The consoles should be positioned fairly close to each other.

Create a Room

Launch the game and select [Match] > [Local Play].
Select [Create Room] > [Create] and wait for the other user.

Join a Room

Launch the game and select [Match] > [Local Play].
Select [Search Room].
Once you find the room, join it.

How do I play a match online?

To play online against other users, connect your Nintendo Switch 2 console to the internet.
Then launch the game, select [Match] > [Online] and choose the mode you want to play.

You must join Nintendo Switch Online to use online features.

Can I receive a Series Linking Bonus just by making progress in this game?

No, you cannot.

How do I check my game version?

Launch the game. Select the Settings icon (gear icon) on the right side of the Top Menu.
Select [Support] and press the "Confirm" button to view the version of the game installed on the console and the version of Download Data.

How much storage space do I need to download the game?

The download requires at least 39.0 GB.

In some cases, more space is required to install the downloaded game on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. Check the available storage space on your Nintendo Switch 2 before downloading. If you do not have enough space, delete unneeded software, or use a microSD card with sufficient storage.

39.0 GB is the minimum required storage. More space may be required for installing Download Data, etc.
