eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE

eFootball.League 20/21 Kicks Off in December!

eFootball.League is an esports tournament that welcomes competitors of all skills levels.
The league's inaugural 2019-20 season was a tremendous success, and saw a fantastic turnout from established esports athletes, aspiring esports players, as well as a great deal of support from several major European clubs.

As a result, it should come as no surprise that eFootball.League will be returning this year with a scheduled kickoff date sometime in early December. Just like last season, the tournament will be divided into two categories: eFootball.Pro, the professional tournament aimed at elite esports players; and eFootball.Open, the amateur tournament open to all comers.

Last season's eFootball.Pro saw competitors representing European soccer clubs go head to head in a traditional league format as well as an online cup.
In total, eFootball.Pro matches have been viewed over 15 million times by users from all over the globe.

The eFootball.Open also proved to be a runaway success, amassing an impressive 1.44 million entrants worldwide.
Winners of the eFootball.Open World Finals received shout-outs on social media from the clubs that they represented.
The club roster for the 2020-21 season will be announced in the coming days, so keep an eye out for updates!
See below for an overview of the eFootball.League's different categories.

A tournament in which professional esports players compete as representatives of real-world soccer clubs.
Participants are selected from among the world's top players and compete in 3v3 co-op matches to determine a winner.
Awards are given out to the players each match day for things like 'MVP' and 'top goal-scorer', and the clubs receive prize money according to their final ranking at the end of the tournament.

An online esports tournament open to all players.
Players are divided by skill level into one of three tiers ('Expert', 'Intermediate', and 'Basic') to ensure a fun and challenging competitive experience for all participants.
Players in the Expert level will aim to pass through the online qualifiers, Regional Finals, and World Finals.
Winners will receive a shout-out on social media from the club they represented and may also be considered for future eFootball.Pro tournaments.

League Schedule
The league is tentatively scheduled to begin in early December 2020.
Additional information will be announced sometime in the near future.
