KONAMI Medalist Employee Yusuke Tanaka Serves as Guest Lecturer for Junior High School in Soka, Saitama, Where Team's Training Facility is Located

Konami Sports Club Co., Ltd. sent its employee, Yusuke Tanaka, to Sakae Junior High School as a guest lecturer for its students on Saturday, January 12th, 2019. Sakae Junior High School is a public junior high school in Soka, Saitama Prefecture, where the training facility for the Konami Sports Gymnastics Team is located. Tanaka is a member of the Konami Sports Gymnastics Team, who won the gold medal in the men’s team all-around gymnastics at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

This special lecture was held in collaboration with Sakae Junior High School, which has been designated as a model school for Saitama Prefecture’s "project of the creation of the Olympic and the Paralympic legacy for the next generation" for two years since fiscal year 2017. The project is aimed at developing and popularizing educational programs related to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

On the day of the lecture, Tanaka talked to the students about what he focuses on to achieve his goals, how he has developed himself by experimenting and learning from mistakes, and the importance of expressing gratitude to his supporters, based on his own experience.
