Konami Sports has started full-fledged operation of commissioned swimming lesson programs for schools since Summer 2019.
Konami Sports manages and operates Konami Sports Club facilities nationwide. At its "undo-jyuku" sports class for children, experienced instructors support to nurture children in body and mind under a safety-first operational system, by drawing on their wealth of knowledge gained through years of experience.
By leveraging Konami Sports' diverse assets through providing high-quality instruction programs and strict monitoring systems to prevent injuries and accidents, we aim to contribute to solving various issues faced by local governments and schools, such as maintenance of swimming pool facilities and work-style reforms for teachers.
We will also offer a variety of plans to meet the needs of each school, ranging from that of only renting pools at our facilities to a full package of commissioned swimming lessons.
Konami Sports will make continued efforts to help solve issues in local communities, by tapping into its expertise amassed over decades of sports instruction.
1. Providing lessons in indoor pools that are less affected by weather conditionsThe indoor pools at our facilities are operated based on our own standard that is stricter than the water quality standard set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, which enables students to use the pools without anxiety, and lessons to be conducted even when it is raining or cold outside.
2.Safety-first operational systemWe operate the program in accordance with strict safety standards to prevent injuries and accidents. All instructors have CPR* qualifications, two lifeguards are stationed at all times, and AEDs* are installed in all the facilities; all of which enables us to respond immediately to an emergency.
3.High-quality instruction that capitalizes on professional experienceWe provide instruction based on our unique level-based program consisting of 21 levels, which enables all students to improve their skills while enjoying lessons that cover the contents outlined in the Courses of Study: "playing in water" and "swimming exercise."
We also focus on teaching how important it is to learn teamwork, rules and etiquette.
In Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture, Konami Sports Club Gamagori and Gamagori Board of Education have entered into a partnership to provide swimming lessons, in which students from neighboring schools receive instruction from school teachers and Konami Sports Club instructors in its facility's indoor pool.
While receiving technical instruction from instructors, students work to find ways to achieve goals they set, such as overcoming weaknesses in their swimming strokes.
