Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Konami Digital Entertainment) is a Special Sponsor of "NPB Junior Tournament KONAMI CUP," organized by Nippon Professional Baseball Organization (hereinafter, NPB) and its 12 Teams.
This Tournament, where 12 NPB Junior Teams compete to become Japan's Number One, aims to further promote and develop the game of Baseball through the interaction amongst the boys and girls from all over Japan composing the teams.
Starting in 2020, Konami Digital Entertainment has been a Special Sponsor for 3 consecutive years. In order to honor individual players and the efforts of the non-Champion teams, "PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL SPIRITS Award" that praise the team that passed the ball around the fastest pre-game as well as "PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU Award" that praise the player with most promising future throughout the competition were established in 2021.
