KONAMI OPEN Competitive Swim Meet

The Konami Group continues to support swimmers who will spearhead the future of Japanese swimming, through holding the "KONAMI OPEN Competitive Swim Meet" (officially recognized by the Japan Swimming Federation), an annual swim meet that allows swimmers of all ages to compete at the same venue - from elementary school children to the athletes who represent Japan on the world stage.

"Junior Finals" are offered at this tournament to nurture junior swimmers to compete internationally. Elementary, junior high, and high school students are also offered with the opportunity to be active in their respective age groups.

By competing against the world's leading swimmers, junior swimmers who will bear the future have set numerous outstanding records including new national records for "Gakudo" (ES students and under) and "Gakusei" (MS, HS, and College students).

The Konami Group will strive to develop and expand new generations of competitive swimmers in Japan, by providing them with opportunities for challenge, growth and interaction.
