Athletes participate in gymnastics classes, swim meets, and other events hosted at Konami Sports Club facilities around Japan, and through giving instruction in these and other sports, spread the joy of exercise to people of all ages.
In addition to improving their competitive abilities, Konami sports team members will continue to use events such as these to contribute to the growth and development of sport.
The Konami Group hosts the KONAMI OPEN, an annual swim meet that allows swimmers of all ages to compete at the same venue - from elementary school children to the athletes who represent Japan on the world stage.
It is KONAMI's hope that through this event we can further contribute to the sport's ongoing development, and provide support to promising swimmers who will spearhead the future of Japanese swimming.
The KONAMI OPEN Competitive Swim Meet is officially recognized by the Japan Swimming Federation, and boasts a more than thirty-year history. At the 31st event held in 2015, the swim meet opened a new chapter by moving the venue to "Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Center," a mecca for swimmers.
With junior swimmers who represent the future of the sport appearing alongside Japan's world-class talent, the event continues to spawn new generations of competitive record-breaking athletes.
