Donation to Support 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Efforts

We extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the earthquake that struck Noto Peninsula, Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan on January 1, 2024.

Konami Group donated 10 million yen to Ishikawa Prefecture Disaster Response Headquarters through THE HOKKOKU SHIMBUN to support the victims and reconstruction efforts concerning this earthquake.

On February 23, Kimihiko Higashio, Representative Director, President of KONAMI GROUP CORPORATION, presented a catalog at the 49th Kio Crown KONAMI GROUP Championship (2nd Game of the Best-of-Five Series) held in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

In the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, Konami Group carried out activities to promote healthy living in addition to donations. Activities included providing 100 "STEPWELL2," Konami Sports' exercise machine, to Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, holding Exercise Classes by Konami Sports Gymnastics Team in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture and Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture by utilizing donations collected from employees.
Furthermore, a total of 22 events, such as "Exercise Program for Seniors" and "Kids Dancing Class," were held in Miyagi Prefecture and Iwate Prefecture from 2016 to 2018.
Similar health promotion activities will be considered to support 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake effected areas.
