What is "Cure"?

Due to unpredictable accidents, you could suffer wounds or become sick. Your body's natural healing power will solve the problem over a long period of time. However, living with such problems till they go away can hurt your chances of surviving in the jungle. To improve things in a much more speedy way, you "cure" yourself.

Injuries/Illnesses

You could get hurt from enemy weapon attacks. You can also get hurt by taking reckless actions. Whether it be a burn, a bone fracture, food poisoning or a cold, it is not helping you in any way. Quickly analyzing your condition and treating it adequately is the key to "CURE". The Cure Viewer

Use the Cure Viewer to find out the position and details of your wound. Based on the information displayed, perform "medical treatment" and "surgical treatment" to improve your condition.

"Medical Treatment" and "Surgical Treatment"

There are two types of treatment -- medical and surgical. Perform them based on what kind of condition you are suffering from. Medical treatment is for internal problems with the use of serums, medicine, etc. Surgical treatment is for healing external wounds with instruments and medicine. "Instruments" and "Medicine"

There is only a finite amount of instruments and medicine you can carry around to treat yourself. If you use them up, you'll have to do your own "refilling". You can restock up on them by gathering certain plants in the jungle or taking supplies from enemy soldiers or their warehouses. However, do not forget that you are on an infiltration mission. Using the Cure Viewer frequently means you are not avoiding situations that you should be avoiding.
