Konami Gaming, Inc. Aligns Games and Systems Sales, Expands Sales Management Team with an Industry Veteran to Support Sustained Growth

Konami Gaming, Inc. has aligned its games and systems sales teams under singular leadership. Effective April 1, 2013, Ross O'Hanley assumed the role of vice president, North American sales at Konami.
"As our games and systems businesses converge, we have taken actions to leverage synergies," said Steve Sutherland, chief operating officer at Konami. "Under this new structure, we will be able to better serve the North American market with a sales force unified under the experienced leadership of Ross O'Hanley."
"Our plan is for both the games and systems sales departments to continue to focus on their own product lines, although in a more collaborative approach that offers Konami's total product portfolio to the North American market," said Ross O'Hanley. "The day-to-day operations of the systems sales team will continue under the proven leadership of Clark Warren, director systems sales."
O'Hanley continued, "We are also pleased to announce the hiring of Mark Morton as regional sales director. Mark has a wealth of experience in the gaming industry, particularly in Nevada. As we continue to grow as a company, we are committed to adding talented individuals like Mark who understand and appreciate Konami's core values."
As part of this reorganization, product management for both games and systems has been consolidated within the marketing department under Matt Reback, senior director of marketing. This transition will allow Konami's sales, marketing, and R&D departments to be closely aligned moving forward.
