KONAMI announced today that it has successfully completed the installation and subsequent field trial of its Konami Casino/Club Management System (KCMS) across approximately 550 gaming machines at the Revesby Workers’ Club’s four properties in Sydney, NSW, Australia. As a result, KCMS is now approved by the Casino Liquor and Gaming Control Authority for use throughout the NSW market in both single site and wide-area network configurations.
Revesby Workers’ Club has chosen KCMS to manage its slot machine accounting, reporting and analysis; player marketing, virtual drawings and and Ticket-in Ticket-out (TITO).
Scott Bennetts, Chief Operating Officer, Revesby Workers’ Club, commented: “Our decision to implement KONAMI’s KCMS was based upon its proven ability to manage multi-site environments, such as ours, as well as its renown data-mining, player tracking and marketing functionality. The streaming video capabilities of the KCMS player tracking displays are also a great way for us to communicate directly with our members and to display live sporting events at the machine.”
Gary Freeman, Konami Australia’s National Sales Manager said: “We are pleased to have been selected as the club management system by the Revesby Workers’ Club. KONAMI recognizes that the NSW and broader Australian markets are globally important, and ones that we are committed to. In addition to being the system-of-choice for the local casino here in NSW, we are now excited to be able to offer a premier management solution to club operators as well”.
KCMS is an industry-leading gaming management system with installations spanning America, Canada, Australia as well as other international regions. KCMS is best known for its advanced capabilities, such as its documented high availability, event-driven Ethernet-based technology, multi-channel streaming video in-machine entertainment, customizable rules-based player/device Bonusing and advanced analytics.
“We believe that KCMS is unique in its ability to manage either SAS protocol machines or NSW X-Series, or both protocols together on the one instance. Therefore, KCMS is an ideal choice for NSW operators”, added Phil O’Toole, Konami Gaming, Inc.’s Systems Product Manager.
Satoshi Sakamoto, Chief Executive Officer/President of Konami Gaming, Inc. & Managing Director of Konami Australia Pty Ltd, concluded: “Konami Gaming, Inc. is an internationally recognized gaming supply company that has its origins in NSW, Australia where it was first established in 1996. Therefore, we are very pleased that KCMS has now been approved for the NSW market, and that it has been selected by one of the leading operators there: the Revesby Workers’ Club. We are confident that the unique multi-game, multi-denomination reporting capabilities of KCMS, at both the device and patron level, its true event-driven slot accounting and monitoring, and powerful player marketing engine will assist the Revesby Workers’ Club’s ongoing success.”
