El remake de SILENT HILL 2, la intensa obra maestra del terror psicológico de KONAMI, se lanza hoy

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. ha anunciado hoy el lanzamiento de SILENT HILL 2, la esperada nueva versión del juego de terror psicológico de 2001, para PlayStation®5 y PC a través de STEAM®. Desarrollada por Bloober Team, el compositor Akira Yamaoka y el artista conceptual Masahiro Ito, la inquietante ciudad envuelta en una niebla amenazante ahora está disponible con gráficos, sonidos y jugabilidad mejorados respecto al juego original.

Los jugadores podrán experimentar la culpa, el dolor y el horror existencial de James Sunderland mientras explora la ciudad de Silent Hill, el lugar especial que él y su difunta esposa Mary solían visitar, un telón de fondo simbólico ahora envuelto en niebla. La nueva versión amplía las áreas que los jugadores pueden explorar, presenta una vista por encima del hombro, renueva el sistema de combate y agrega nuevas escenas cinemáticas para ofrecer a los jugadores nuevos y también a quienes jugaron en su día diferentes formas de experimentar el juego.
