The Road to the FIFAe World Cup 26™ Will Commence In eFootball™ From February 2026

Windsor, UK – December 15th, 2025 – Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI) announces the mobile and home console division World Champions of the ‘FIFAe World Cup 25™’ featuring eFootball™. Mobile division champion Thailand’s JXMKT and console division champions Zilo and Ostrybuch from Poland were the victors of the tournament held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from 10th – 13th December.

The FIFAe World Cup 25™ featuring eFootball™ is an official esports tournament organised together by Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. And the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA®). This year, a record 90 countries and regions participated in the qualifiers with a cumulative total of 16.51 million participants. From this, twelve national representatives for each division competed with the ultimate goal of being crowned world champions.

In the Mobile Division final, Thailand took the lead in the first match with a powerful mid-range shot in the first half, then added another goal in the second half to overwhelm Brazil. In the second match, Brazil showed their mettle by taking the lead, but Thailand quickly equalised, and the match ended in a draw. Thailand emerged victorious from the fiercely contested battle to claim their first championship. Mobile division winner: Thailand’s JXMKT expressed his joy by saying, “I am very proud and I want to thank for my coach. Without him, I couldn’t become a champion, and I want to thank my team, and Thailand for support. Dream came true.”

The console division final saw a European showdown between Poland and Italy. After a 1-1 draw in the first match, the decisive second match arrived. Poland broke the deadlock just before half-time, then maintained an impenetrable defence to secure their first-ever championship title. Poland’s Zilo said “It is very special to me, especially that I’m standing here with my brother. I’m really proud of us”. His teammate Ostrybuch also added “We proved that we are the best, and we played incredible. More deserved that I couldn’t be.”
