KONAMI’S CASTLEVANIA ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION OUT NOW IN DIGITAL STORES

The Castlevania Anniversary Collection is part of KONAMI’S 50th anniversary celebration
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has today announced that the first Castlevania Anniversary Collection is now available as a digital exclusive through the PlayStation®Store, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch™ eShop, and Steam for PC at RRP £15.99.
Including fan favourite games such as Castlevania Bloodlines (known as ‘Castlevania: The New Generation’ in Europe) and Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, plus Kid Dracula, previously unreleased outside of Japan, the full collection promises a return to the beginnings of the franchise:
- Castlevania (NES)
- Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest (NES)
- Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse (NES)
- Super Castlevania IV (Super NES)
- Castlevania The Adventure (Game Boy)
- Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge (GBA)

The Castlevania Anniversary Collection is part of KONAMI’s 50th anniversary celebration and compiles titles from its beloved franchises and retro games, including last month’s Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection and the upcoming Contra Anniversary Collection, due in Summer 2019.
Following user feedback to the launch of the Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection, multiple patches are currently in development for all Anniversary Collections. These free updates will add the following features, with specific timings and details to be shared soon:
To bring the Castlevania Anniversary Collection to life, KONAMI partnered with game developer M2 to expertly adapt these classics for modern gaming systems. Packaged together with Bonus eBook extras including an interview with Adi Shankar, a producer on the animated series, this digital exclusive collection provides an entertaining and comprehensive history of Castlevania’s beginnings.
