KONAMI strebt knapp 10.000 gespendete Konservendosen
für den guten Zweck an
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI) hat heute Fans des Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) aus ganz Europa eingeladen, am Christmas Charity Event 2022 teilzunehmen und Lebensmittel in Konservendosen für einen guten Zweck zu spenden. Das Unternehmen hofft, in diesem Jahr die größte Beteiligung bisher erreichen zu können und im nächsten Monat knapp 10.000 Konservendosen der Duellanten spenden zu können.
Das Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Christmas Charity Event begann vor acht Jahren in Deutschland. Mittlerweile ist es ein europäisches Event mit hunderten teilnehmender Official Tournament Stores (OTS) aus neun unterschiedlichen Ländern.
Während des Christmas Charity Events finden spezielle Turniere in teilnehmenden OTS statt. Die Duellanten bringen drei Konservendosen mit Lebensmitteln mit und spielen Duelle, um zusätzliche Dosen zu gewinnen. Mit dem Ende des Events können diese Dosen gegen OTS Tournament Packs (OTS Packs) eingetauscht werden. Dies sind Karten-Packs, die ausschließlich in den OTS erhältlich sind und von KONAMI für das Event zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Jeder OTS spendet anschließend die gesammelten Konserven an eine Non-Profit-Organisation seiner Wahl.

seit 2014 von der Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG-Community getan wird. Das Christmas Charity Event ist jedes Jahr größer und größer geworden. Wir alle bei KONAMI Europe sind sehr stolz darauf und danken allen Duellanten und OTS, die im Jahr 2022 teilnehmen werden.”
Teilnehmende Stores in Österreich, Belgien, Deutschland, Irland, den Niederlanden, Portugal, Spanien, der Schweiz und dem Vereinigten Königreich veranstalten Turniere im Rahmen des Christmas Charity Events vom 2. bis zum 18. Dezember.
