Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that "LovePlus EVERY," the latest title in the love communication game series, was a recipient of the "Future Division" award at the Japan Game Awards 2017, held by the Consumer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA).
Created in 1996 to help promote and grow the industry, the Japan Game Awards honor consumer entertainment software as a sphere of cultural activity in its own right.
To be eligible for the Future Division award, titles must have been announced for upcoming release and shown at Tokyo Game Show 2017*. The titles with the most support, as determined by visitors’ votes and a judges’ committee, are recognized as the upcoming games players are looking forward to the most.
In "LovePlus EVERY," the player’s character meets three girls at his high school, and, after one of them professes their love for him, he enjoys a life of romance with his new girlfriend. Throughout Tokyo Game Show 2017, crowds of visitors came to experience a VR event that presented part of the game in VR, and it had everyone talking. "LovePlus EVERY" is scheduled for release this winter.
KONAMI will continue to provide KONAMI content to an ever-greater number of consumers across a range of devices and genres.
