Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that it has been certified by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare as an outstanding company for promoting women’s participation in the workplace, based on the standards set forth in the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace ("Act to Promote Women's Participation"). KONAMI has received the highest certification, the Grade 3 "Eruboshi"*1 symbol.

At KONAMI, as we expand our entertainment operations in a global marketplace, securing and cultivating talent that can participate in this kind of environment is essential. It ties into our effort to promote workplace diversity to create equal opportunities for employees of various nationalities, genders, ages, and cultures.

This certification is an endorsement of the steps taken at KONAMI to create work environments that support women, as part of our diversity drive. Even prior to this, to help ease employees’ return to work from maternity and childcare leave and continuation of their careers, KONAMI’s range of policies have included extending measures such as reduced working hours, and financial assistance for childcare costs including daycare and babysitting expenses.

KONAMI will continue to evolve its work environments to enable women to excel, as we provide our broad customer base with exciting new experiences through a range of products and services.
