* Free Grand Prix mode can be played with up to 6 players with up to 6 separate consoles or 3 players connected to one console.

Free Grand Prix Menu

Free Grand Prix allows you to select from four menus.

Quick Play

Randomly matches you with a room that's looking for players.

Create Room

Select either "One console per person" or "One console per team" and select your invite method. Then you can select the room type, number of players, battle rules and stage, then invite opponents.

* You cannot participate in Free Grand Prix through "Quick Play" or "Find Room" if the setting is "One console per team".

●Invite methods
Find Room Members	Simultaneously invite your teammates and opponent team.
Find Teammates Only	Invite only your teammates and invite opponent team afterwards.

●Room type
Open	Anyone can join the battle.
Friend Room	Only friends will be able to join this room.
Room Number	Set a room number so that only those who know the number can enter the room.

Find Room

Room Number allows you to enter the room number of a room inviting opponents. Friend Room allows you to search and enter rooms created by players registered as friends on your Nintendo Switch™.

* When too many people try to join the same room using a room number, you may be connected to a different room than the one created by the host.

1Player Info

Your player name, league icon, and host mark (if you're the host).

2Character information

When matching is complete, the character is shown and you can change your character and accesory.

3Antenna icon

You can check the status of your opponent's network connection towards your console. The antenna icon will appear weak if they have bad connection or if they are connecting to you from a very long distance.

* If your own network condition is bad, all of your opponent's antenna icons may appear weak.

* If one player has bad network connection, it may result in causing a time lag for all participating players.

4Room Menu

Here you can set all connected Joy-Con controllers to be used held horizontally and check Battle Rules. The player who created the room (the host) can change these rules. However, some rules can't be changed.

5Room Number

RESULTS

Once the winner is determined, the result screen shows up and the player on the winning team will receive BP while the loser will have their BP deducted.

* The BP gained in Free Grand Prix will be omitted and you won't be promoted to a higher league.
