MULTIPLAYER BATTLE

In this mode you can play together with a maximum of eight people who are in the same room as you. When three or more people are playing, each player must have their own controller. For details on how to set up controllers, please refer to your Nintendo Switch™ instruction manual.

※ The Team Battle mode is newly available.

Preparing for Battle

Once you've set the rules and chosen a stage, and each player has selected the character they want to use, battle will begin.

LOCAL BATTLE

In this mode you can battle together with other nearby Nintendo Switch™ systems. Choose either "Create Room" or "Find Room" to start battling.

※ A maximum of eight players (four Nintendo Switch™ systems, with two players on each one) can play together.

※ The Team Battle mode is newly available.

Create Room

Create a room and choose the battle rules and stage, then search for other players to join your room. You can either all play individually and go up against each other or split into teams.

Find Room

Enter the number of a room that's looking for players to join.
