The great quadrennial soccer tournament has now kicked off, sending waves of excitement all across the world of soccer.
In our latest attempt to bring that type of enthusiasm right away to eFootball™, we will feature national team stars who played well in real life during the campaign period and honor them with the title "Player of the Day" (POTD).

Introducing Player of the Day
We will select the players who make their mark in fiery national team matches played each day and, as early as the next day at 12:00 (UTC), feature them in eFootball™ in a way that reflects their performance in the latest match.
To sign a POTD, earn Event Rewards in the VS AI Event "International Cup Day", or spend some eFootball™ Coins after the Event ends.
*At a later point, a player introduced as a POTD may appear again or be featured as a Show Time player.

Schedule for Signing a POTD
POTDs will appear from 06/11/2026 12:00 (UTC) up until the middle of July.
The VS AI Event "International Cup Day", which is based on the national team matches in question, will be held at 12:00 (UTC). As a reward, users can earn a Chance Deal for a POTD.
Each Chance Deal will be awarded when that Special Player List is "Not Started," meaning it will not be possible to sign a player immediately.
After that Special Player List is released the next day at 12:00 (UTC), it will then be possible to sign a POTD.
*The Event will be held each day, with a different Special Player List for each reward.
*Each Special Player List will stay available for 48 hours from the moment it is released.

POTDs May Reappear as Show Time Players!
Some players introduced as a POTD will also appear again as a Show Time player at a later date.
The first of these lists will be available on 06/18/2026 12:00 (UTC).
Look forward to signing special players with even greater skills than a POTD!
*Show Time Special Player Lists may also include current and previously released POTDs.

*In some cases, a POTD will not appear due to the country, region, or player.
*Changes may be made to the schedule for the release of Special Player Lists and the hosting of Events.
