BEMANI PRO LEAGUE, a new form of entertainment that fuses esports and music, began in 2021. It is an esports tournament for "beatmania IIDX," a series of DJ simulation games first released in 1999. Known for its high level of difficulty even among rhythm games, players must use seven keys and a turntable to play notes that fly at them at high speed. Following pro tryouts and a draft in April (https://youtu.be/3aOz-Rj3j9M), during which eight sponsor companies selected a total of 32 players between them, the teams are ready to put their unparalleled skill and teamwork on display as they aim for victory.
