Konami Amusement Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that KONAMI MAH-JONG FIGHT CLUB has completed the pro mahjong M.League 2021-22 tournament, which began in October 2021.
KONAMI MAH-JONG FIGHT CLUB had a change of team members this season and competed in the M.League as a new four-member team. All players put in spirited performances, with Arisa Date in particular taking the top spot with
105,500 points, breaking the M.League's all-time record for individual score. This follows last year's highest score set by Hisato Sasaki, making this the second season in a row a KONAMI MAH-JONG FIGHT CLUB member has claimed that
title.
KONAMI MAH-JONG FIGHT CLUB carried this momentum all the way to the finals series*1. Unfortunately, the tides turned in the finals and the team ultimately fell short of the championship, finishing the season in fourth place
overall. We would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support.
KONAMI MAH-JONG FIGHT CLUB will continue to improve in order to meet expectations next season, and hope to count on your support!
Konami Amusement will continue to deliver fun and excitement to even more mahjong fans through KONAMI MAH-JONG FIGHT CLUB's competitive efforts in the M.League.
