Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Konami Digital Entertainment) has conducted Baseball Equipment Reuse Project since 2022 as an initiative to promote baseball.
The project collects baseball equipment, like bats and gloves, that are no longer used at home and donates them to people in need, both domestically in Japan and internationally. It aims to expand the baseball population by providing more children the opportunity to play baseball.
Certificate of Appreciation from the World Baseball Softball Confederation (hereinafter, WBSC) was given to Konami Digital Entertainment for donating part of its gears, collected in the 2022 initiative, to African nations via WBSC Africa.
In conjunction with the game held at Tokyo Dome on November 21, 2023, a booth was set up to collect baseball equipment donations.
Konami Digital Entertainment will continue to create touchpoints to baseball through this Baseball Equipment Reuse Project.
