Participate in PALA+
PALA+ is the next phase of PALA (Presidential Active Lifestyle Award), a program of the President’s Challenge, designed to motivate Americans to make physical activity and healthy eating part of their everyday life. The physical activity requirements for DanceDance Revolution are to play DanceDanceRevolution for 60 minutes/day for kids, 30 minutes/day for adults, five days a week for six out of eight weeks.
The DanceDanceRevolution series is an interactive video game that combines real physical dancing with energetic music and visuals. DanceDanceRevolution also comes with a tailored workout mode that allows players to track how many calories they burn as they play. As a video game, DanceDanceRevolution has been nothing short of a revolution, but now the game has been recognized by leading researchers, schools and doctors as an innovative and fun solution to promoting a healthy lifestyle and fighting childhood obesity. We’re proud to announce the NEW DanceDanceRevolution Classroom Edition designed specifically for schools coming this fall!
