METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER CODE HUNT WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Konami Congratulates the Provisional Winners of the METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER Code Hunt

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced the provisional winners of the METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER Code Hunt contest. The contest was held between May 5th and June 2nd to celebrate the highly-anticipated June 8th launch of METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER.

Together with contest partners Sony Computer Entertainment America and Best Buy Co, Inc., (NYSE:BBY), Konami Digital Entertainment hosted a code collecting competition for fans 18 & older in the USA and Canada that had eager participants scouring land and cyberspace for elusive contest codes.

The hunt was hotly contested with over 5,000 participants competing individually and jointly - in squads of up to five members - for a shot at $10,000, MGS PEACE WALKER 'Big Boss' PSP bundles, and more.

The race to the finish was thrilling and dramatic, with a dynamic leader board, increasingly-stealthy code drops, and a terrific final hour push. When the dust settled, three teams of code hunters stood triumphant atop the METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER Code Hunt podium:

First Place: Assassins
Second Place: MetalGear?
Third Place: The Wolfpac
